50FBYPBC stamped Volvo Penta but is OMC

Ok so i dont know if this is the best place to ask abiut this as this is stamped volvo penta but can only find info when searching omc. So my problem was an engine that would backfire and loose power at about 12 mph. So i did a complete fuel system ignition system tune up. Changed both fuel pumps, plugs and plug wires, distributor cap and rotor, ignition coil, fuel filter, and even the raw water pump. Well i changed the ignition coil this morning and upon starting up I have a high idle now and seems to be slow tp decelrate. I checked all connections on the ignition coil and all seem well. What could have happened from a coil that was grounding itself to the new coil to cause this?

you have a throttle body so check the linkage to see if its bent or need a adjustment to close the throttle plates a bit more

Heres a few pics hard to get this to load my google pics. But i was able to tighten the throttle cable but my power drop problem still exists. I habe changed everything except fuel jnjectors and i dont know if fuel injectors are the problem. Both injectors stay running when this happens and spray pattern seems consistent.
