I am rebuilding my 50 hp 2cyl Evinrude. What type of gasket sealer do I use between the case halves of the power head???

You can use the factory recom

You can use the factory recommended "gel seal" .It is most important to make sure that there are no imperfections on the surfaces.Use the sealer sparingly. I have measured the film of sealer on failed powerheads at 0.008" which means the assembler had no idea on what they were doing.
