hi guys seeing if any one could help me witha small problem, there seems to be small amount of oil coming from the spark plugs is this normal, she is a two stroke 50 horse power evinrude , any help would be much appreiated,.,.. mark vic

what do you mean there is a small amount of oil comming from the spark plugs? like while the are in there is oil comeing out :S or when you take them out there is oil on the plugs?

when they are in its coming out, but there very tight, it seems to be coming off the thread,sorry i had to run the girls down the street,,,,,mark

with your spark plugs in there should be no way that the oil could come out.... should be a sealed if oil comes out that must meen that you are loosing compression also...

Are the plugs loose, are gasket rings on the plugs?

plugs shouldnt be loose unless he has not tightned them up enough.

i just tightned them about quarter of a turn,, wiped all the oil off ,.., i,ll be chasing blue fin today , i,ll see how it geos,.,., if its loosing compression is it really noticeable,,,,

depends how much compression it is looseing out of it... what is your wot rpm's?

it seems to be running perfect at full power ,,it will be in the water in about an hour , i,ll let you know how she went,,

yes i did , its working well now thanks heaps
