5.7 GI-E general warning #1

oil pr. good. oil level ok. temp ok. no knock detected. sets gen warning #1 and goes into R.P.M. reduction (S.L.O.W.) using rinda scan tool. any ideas?

it was one of the temp sensors in the exhaust elbows. didn't think it would trigger safe mode, but it did.
