5.7 convertion from log to mid rise exhuast

I need a little help.

I just purchased and installed a conversion kit to switch my boat from log exhaust manifolds to mid rise. The only problem is they don't provide a diagram on how to attache the cooling hoses. The manifolds each have four ports and the elbows each have one. The kit is provided with plugs and four cooling hose fittings. The new thermostat housing has two connects (not counting the water pump connection and the raw water connection) and I am assuming that two of the fittings go to it. That leave me with two connectors to attach the manifolds some where. Does anyone know how to tie the hose in?

PS it is a raw water cooled system and it is a 1980 sea ray.

If its raw water cooled, the thermostat housing connections should feed the manifolds, at the lowest connections. Probably use a 90 degree elbow with a pipe fitting. put pipe plugs in the rest of the fittings. Use the open gasket between the manifold to the riser/elbow.

The raw water flow should exit the engine, flood (& cool) each manifold, and then the elbow. Inside the elbows, the water should dump into the exhaust and empty overboard.

You'll need a pair of 'pipe stretchers' if they didn't get you extensions for the elbows and the new system will move them forward several inches.
