5.0 TKS Alpha alarm

Hi All

I have been getting intermittent alarms on my 2009 5.0 TKS Alpha with fresh water cooling kit. Temp, Oil pressure and volts are fine, engine and stern drive oil are good, and I haven't been able to find any shorts. I can go all day at low speed, but when I speed up the alarm will start to come on, slow down and it goes away. I keep it moored in salt water (summer), was thinking of hauling it out to check/replace the raw water impeller as I had heard that stern drive temperature may cause an alarm? Just wanted to know if anyone thinks I am on the right track.

unplug the wires going to the drive lube bottle,see if that helps, sometimes when starting to plane the float gets erratic, if thats it replace bottle.

It's about time for a new impeller. Also inspect the heat exchanger for saltwater damage.
