5.0 mercruiser engine shut down under way

5.0 mercruiser shut down underway. Engine cranks over but will not start. Will start and run fine with jumper wire ran from positive on battery to positive on coil. Has good oil pressure and temp. Would like some input.

runs with a jumper so thats good, It means there is no 12V from the key switch getting to the coil.
bad ign switch
bad safety lanyard switch(man overboard switch)
main harness plug under dash
inline ign fuse(if equipped)
main cannon plug at engine harness.
