5.0 GXi ?

Hi everyone. In the market for a used boat. Found one I like but I'm a bit confused about the engine. Owner states it is a 2003 5.0 GXi. It looks to me like it has some sort of aftermarket carb on it. Can anyone identify this engine?

If it's carb'd, it's not a GXi. The 5.0 GXi is fuel injected...either throttle body or mpi. if it has a carb it's a GL.
