Hey thanks for replying....I mean I know that the ford block and the chevy block have different bolt patterns on the back. is there something that neede to be changed in order to bolt up a chevy motor to the outdrive? When I looked into this, the answer I got was it could be done, but it will cost some. I believe the 460 was mated to the King Cobra which is a very stout OD. I don't remember specifics, but it turned out to be a far bigger headache than I was willing to take on.
Good Luck

I may be acquiring a boat with a Ford 460 engine and an OMC outdrive.
