"My 454 mag has pitting on the upper thrust side of #6. The pitting is too deep for a hone to remove and appears to have been a result of sitting disassembled, as The engine has only 200 hours and all parts including all the pistons measure right up to std, and are in excellent shape. Id like to repair the one bore only, and keep all the std parts. Anyone been able to sleeve one of these to std bore?"

Don't even think of running it with those pits in there--it will burn oil like crazy! A old Caddy motor of mine with minor pits in the wall would--in a few minutes--fill my gararge with smoke so thick I couldn't see 5 feet. Te pits act like oil injection to make a real mess.
