45 hp Mariner how old

"I recently bought an older 45 hp 4 cyclinder oil injected Mariner and need the age to get some basic parts. Serial Number is 0B138363. By looking on the forum I believe it's an 87 built by Yamaha but I'm not sure. thanks in advance for any help, I'm new to the forum and look forward to being enlightened."

(if you don't count the baby of my bunch - a 1991 model)

That's a 1987 US Mercury built Mariner. Does have some Yami parts on it, but should not be confused with the 100% Yamaha built Mariners. Yours is simply a Merc with different paint/decals."
