440 exhaust note

My 72 vdrive Arabian is too lo

My 72 vdrive Arabian is too loud according to the local police. The 440 330hp sound is classic. Any recommendations on toning it down a bit without losing the character?

"I have a '71 Arabian and put Dapars on 2 years ago. They are more like skiing mufflers, so they have less back pressure. They might be louder than others though. I am happy with them. The problem with the Arabian is space. I had to buy elbows and cross the exhaust to get them in."

I am going with an inline sile

I am going with an inline silencer that is only 10" from rex marine. Stainless and fits my 3" flex exhaust hose. They say it will reduce 12 dbs.
