It has an alloy sump and on the rocker covers it is marked vortec, do vortec build the motors for volvo?. surprised to see an alloy sump, I thought that there might have been an extra cost for an alloy sump.
volvo have also supplied me with a warning buzzer.
I assume this thing goes off when the ignition is turned on, and goes off again if there is a problem with the oil pressure or temp.
my problem is, there are no wiring instructions for it, i have the loom diagram for the gauges and tach, but there is no mention of this buzzer,
it has a red and black wire obviously + and -.
does anybody know how to connect this thing up?
