"I am trying to replace the rear seal of my paragon trans (model P-41-R) which is leaking trans fluid. I have decoupled the prop shaft and can see a large nut tucked inside the rear plate. Anyone know if this would be a right or left handed nut? Any idea where I can get a manual for this trans? I bought all of the manuals for the boat (1968 chris craft grand prix) and engine but the Paragon drive info is for differennt drives than the P41.
Also any recommendations for plugs and wires for the 427 would be appreciated.
The sea water pump and circulation water pumps..are the pulleys designed to allow for tensioning the belts? Can't figure out how to tighten these belts.
