40hp johnson and evinrude

Thanks. Im looking to put the tiller handle and lower unit off the 98 on the 91. I was pretty sure it would work. The only real difference I can see is the way the electronics are set up. I will just have to find a wiring diagram on them to hook the electric start and all back up.
 
It does have the start and primer buttons. I am gonna have to splice all the wires for harness though. The engine I am puting it on had a control box and doesnt have the small plugs like the tiller handle engine has. Its gonna work, one way or another!

Well guys, its alive! Now I just need to find a power tilt and unit at a good price!
