Looking for help from the experts please? I have an '02 Merc 40 hp, 3cyl 4 stroke. After years of rebuilding the carbs and it never running great; I replaced all carbs, fuel lines, filter and pump. Runs like new...But, when it sits in the water you can see a fuel slick around the engine in the water. The engine compartment in completely dry? Any thoughts?
