40 hp with oil in upper case

Prepping the boat for the hurricane and when i tilted the motor up some oil ran out. Looks like a small pool at the base of the power head below where the dip stic goes in. No time to troubleshoot but where should I look when I get back to the boat. Oil level looked ok, maybe even a little high, not milky, might have some gas in it. Running fine and fuel pump replaced 4 months ago.

If the oil is too high, it may come out the breather, then back to the intake of the carbs.

Make sure your oil is at the proper level. I prefer about 1/4" below full.
