"hey guys, i have a 2002 40 hp mercury. the problem i am having is the trim is bleeding down while under a load. it holds fine in reverse or just sitting still . no visible leaks,manual valve is closed. thanks for any help. alan"

low oil level in unit? check l

low oil level in unit? check level and top up if needed. can cause slow bleed down when low level. tilt motor full down and check level.
