40 Hp oil injected 2 stroke

Hey everyone I just joined this forum looking for help or info. I have a mercury 2 stroke 40 hp outboard. Just recently I took on the task of replacing my lower unit seals and water pump impeller and all the seals with it. Originally I noticed some kind of fluid leak and replaced the parts listed above. I tested everything out verifing the water pump works and lower unit works properly. Once I got back home after a few hours I noticed the same leak. It's a brown chocolate milk color. Not sure what it is or where it could be coming from. The lower unit oil I have currently is blue and tested the fluid in a container with water to see if it's lower unit oil leaking. Here's a handful of pictures showing what I'm dealing with. Any help would be awesome. Thanks!

Smell it, burnt oil residue from the exhaust. Not usually visible in the water but when warmed up on a hose it runs out the prop area

Sounds normal for a 2 stroke.
