40 hp mariner oil pressure buzzer wonbt go off

buzzer won't turn off. No

buzzer won't turn off. Not sure if pressure is really low or if there is a short somewhere. Tank has plenty of oil. Any advice for a non-mechanic?

premix before running again. s

premix before running again. service the system. leave premix in untill you are sure system is working properly. better to foul the plugs than turn a motor into an anchor

Probably the magnet on the float in the oil tank has come unglued. Disconnect the wires to the underside of the tank. If the alarm goes off it is either the magnetic switch or the magnet.

The magnet is glued to the bottom of the float. If it is the problem, you can remove the float and magnet and attatch it again to the bottom of the float.
