40 HP Evinrude Lower Unit Assembly

How do I assemble an Evinrude 40HP lower unit? I bought your parts and forgot how to put it together. I cannot find anything on the internet. Please help.

That would be tough to explain... to start with, one would need to know exactly what model number that engine is as there are many different 40hp models out there.

However, with the model number in hand, check with your local library as they usually have various service manuals on hand that would explain the procedure.

It is a 1990 motor. The model # VE4OTLESR. Any input would be appreciated.

Which parts for the lower...all the gears, prop shaft, etc?
