40 hp convert to tiller question

Looking at a 1990 40hp 6E9-415320 and wonder if the steering bracket is made to accept a tiller handle without swapping out the whole shebang. I haven't seen it yet and the seller is hard to get ahold of.

Turns out it was born in '84-'85.

That is a Yamaha built motor. I have never seen one as a tiller and the parts to make the conversion might be hard to find.

I bought a tiller handle which I can always sell if converting it is means changing out the steering bracket.
