"my hunting buddy has a 2003 4stoke 40hp carburated motor.he takes it out it runs great for about 5 minutes and then it boggs down and wont run at much more than idle speed.hes had it at an un named yamaha shop 3 times,they say theyve cleaned the carbs and they were gummed up.but,heres the kicker he gets the motor home puts it in the water and it does the same thing at the tune of 400 bucks a trip to the shop.he got fed up n took it to another shop and they said all 3 carbs were shot.the motor has less than 150 hrs on it.they want 1200$ to fix.hes spent all this$ allready and still the motor isnt right,with the motor a few months out of warranty hes screwed.any ideas?"
