I have an older Elgin motor (probably bought in Canada)with a decal that states SS-4 which I assume is Simpson Sears and 4 HP. There is a model #C945-5045 and a serial #682537 or 662537. The serial # is very hard to read. I am looking for information on this motor as it needs a seal kit for prop end and also I need schematics on how to disassemble. I cannot determine how the prop would come off as there are no pins or screws visible. Any help would be appreciated.
