4 cylinder crankshaft differences?

Hey everyone,

I stopped by to ask a question about the different 4 cylinder penta engines. Specifically the crankshafts. I don't have a boat that I'm building I actually have a volvo 740 I'm building the motor in. You can take the penta crankshaft to make a stroker motor but I can't find which crankshaft to use. Unless they're all the same. Anyone have any info on this?

I actually just found my answer. The AQ151 and 171 both had a forged crankshaft with an 86mm stroke. The b230 in my volvo has an 80mm stroke.

You may also have differences in journal size and thrust bearing placement, center or end.
