4.3 EFi fuel pump - cooler type

Does anyone have any knowledge of attempting to bulkhead mount the cooler type fuel pump on a 4.3 efi? One of my customers is asking for this to be done as he is unwilling to have his engine removed again for a fuel pump replacement. FIrst time have come across this request. I have yet to see the engine bay layout but I am assured it is impossible to remove with the engine in situ. I have yet to carry out a few elimination tests to positively confirm it is the pump

Ayuh,.... I'm sure that Anything can be done, when enough Money is thrown at the perceived problem,....

It'd be a Bear to reroute the fuel, water, 'n power to a bulkhead, 'n I'm SURE the motor would need to come out to do the dastardly deed...

1 of the 1s, I work on, has that system, 'n the only problem I've had, to date anyways, is the fuel filter needs to be filled with fuel, when changed...
Dam thing won't prime an empty filter...
