3JH40 AUX STP Error code

Just finished installing a new 3JH40 and now getting AUX STP error code. The emergency stop button on top of the ECU is set to RUN, not really sure what is causing this error. Also getting ST LOCK when I push the start button.
 
I have a newly-installed 4JH110 and have exactly the same problem. Control panel says 'AUX STP', even though the auxiliary stop button on the ECU is set to 'run' and the control panel has been powered down and back up. I can't find anyone with an idea of how to get this cleared. Did you manage to make any progress?

The engine should have come with a short harness connector that must be plugged in behind the panel if you don't have the optional remote backup panel or remote aux stop switch.
 
@JimR360 - Uh, so if I understand you correctly, apart from the main plug that needs to connect to the control panel, there is a short extension to the harness that also has a plug which, if not terminated by an optional secondary panel or remote aux stop switch, needs also to be plugged into the control panel. We have the 10m long harness option, but I think when you say 'short harness connector' you are referring to a spur at the end of the harness, is that correct?
 
I was shown a photo today of the back of the control panel, and it looks like there are two plugs/sockets on the wiring on the back of the panel, one of which obviously needs to connect to the wiring harness that runs to the engine, the other of which is probably for remote stop equipment like a fire boy or similar, and which may need to be terminated with a special blank plug if such remote stop equipment is not used. Does this sound plausible? I never got a reply from @JimR360 on this.
