My 3 cylinder 90 HP Merc. runs

My 3 cylinder 90 HP Merc. runs on 1 cylinder initially after start up for approx. 5 minutes and then kicks in on all 3 and will run perfect for the rest of the day. Next day- same thing.

Water in cylinders? Make a compression test. Should be at least 100psi on all cyls, and within 10% of each other.
