383112 or 383114 Assembly

Looking for somebody much more knowledgeable than myself with OMC stringer mount sterndrives. I have a gear, shaft, bearing with ball gear assembly that was acquired and need to identify which units it may fit. The box that came with his project had no numbers on it. Customer is trying to put a sterndrive together and no idea if it is the correct one. Best I can tell it is either the 383112 or 383114, based on some numbers found on assembly. Comparing several sites with schematics, nothing definite found. Any help, greatly appreciated, Steve

Try posting up over at iboats on the OMC I/O forum, someone there might know. I'm familiar with Cobras but that's the limit of my OMC knowledge.
