377MAG beeps every minute!

Hi group, i was told the beeping is from the error code "maximum number of misfires reached" Sometimes i just get 1 long beep when i first start the engine. but then it doesnt beep again for a day or 2. Sometimes it gives 1 long beep while underway, and then it keeps beeping a single time, every minute. At which point i replace some parts, go to the dealer to clear the code, then try to take it on the lake again.
So far I replaced the spark plugs, cap, rotor, and main engine fuse to no avail. Even threw in a new battery for good measure.
Also found a loose grounding lug for the engine harness on the back of the engine just below the coil. was thinking maybe it damaged the coil by having a loose ground. Tightened that and no change.Noticed a little white oxidation on the inside of some of the spark plug boots where they connect to the cap, didnt look excessive but im thinking maybe its enough to throw a code.
Was told the crank trigger connector has issues with making good contact with the pins, may try to tweak that or change the spark plug wires next. Anyone has any clues on what could be causing this? I ran it up to 3000rpm in a test tank at the dealer and of course it wouldnt do it then. It did show some misfires even at idle though in some but not all of the cylinders. Hope to get some new ideas, thanks to all! 2011 Crownline 21SS, engine s/n 1A645849, Bravo 1. 330 hours.

Is the lake you are boating on big enough for you to run the boat around 2800 RPM for 1/2 hour with out slowing down? This will allow the PCM to run the full catalyst self test.

yes it is. I bought a techmate scan tool and found out that i am gettting a low water pressure alarm at idle when the engine is warm and thermostat is open. That was the single beep i heard when i start the motor. Totally unrelated to the water pressure alarm. Doesnt do it when the engine is cold and thermostat is closed. I think the poppet valve is stuck open so im not getting enough back pressure when the thermostat is open and flowing . I read that on another forum with a guy that has a similar engine from the same year, 2011. I guess the springs wear out in a few years and the valve can stick open. Gonna replace it and see what happens. As for the intermittent misfire alarm i reseated all the connection plugs on the computer and cam sensor and the alarm has not come back, fingers crossed.
