"Does the Chris Craft 350Q water pump (not the raw water pump) have a gasket (o-ring) between the brass/bronze water pump housing and the housing attached to the engine block? The port engine had a very thin o-ring but the starboard engine did not have the o-ring when I took it apart. The port engine o-ring was not in the gasket kit for the engine, and I could not find a replacement so I reinstalled the old one. If it is needed any ideas where I can find such an o-ring? The port engine o-ring was about 1/16" and 4" or so across

Off topic a bit - Do you know

Off topic a bit - Do you know if the water pumps for both 350Q engines are exactly the same? Or is 1 different since the pump turns in a different direction (ie. counter rotation)

It’s been a while but what did you figure out about the seal between the recirculating water pump and the flywheel cover?
