"When starting the port side engine the engine fires immiediately with no problem, however there is large ring of what appears to be carbon on the water while the engine is idling at low RPM. This engine appears to run very rich at low RPM but when warm seems fine. I would understand dark smoke but don't understand the carbon. Any ideas."

when was the last time u rebuild the carbs and had a tune up

Just bought the boat in Decemb

Just bought the boat in December. Was tuned up when bought but have not rebuilt the carbs. I am guessing a heavy float in the carb but am looking for a second opinion.l
