"I know my outboard is a 35 HP but I want to know the year. Model # is 35603G & ser. is E0001903. Also, are there any reliability issues with this motor I should know about and where could I find a tiller handle for this engine and approx. how much should I expect to pay for one. Thanks in advance for any help. I appreciate it."

Thanks again."

Yes 1970's motors are 50:1 mix. The use of all roller bearings motors started around 1960. Certain motors needed 24:1 mix up till like around 1963.
