what is the proper way to wint

what is the proper way to winterize a 3.3 HP merc two stroke now that ethanol fuel is here?

"Fred ethanol fuel absorbs wat

"Fred ethanol fuel absorbs water so fast that nowadays I would drain the engine completely of fuel. You could add some stabilizer to the last tank, run it dry,drain carbs etc. Then I pull plugs,squirt a little WD-40 etc down the cylinders and replace with new plugs. Also drain and refill the leg and you should be good."
