"What is the difference between 318 timing covers?
Is it possible to use an automotive timing cover on a FWC engine built after 1975? It looks like the RWC, 2 pocket pump engines have a different cover-It has a hole in the center behind the circulating pump. I can't look at my engines right now to compare(or get my serial numbers). In my old parts books, it looks like 1968-75 is different, and the 75 and up is just like the automotive item. If it is possible, I figured one of you guys have done it. Thanks"
