"Does anyone have part numbers for the ECU, ballast resistor, and soleniod. I have the Sierra Marine part numbers but of course they are twice as expensive. It seems these three parts can easily (and cheaply!) be replaced with over the counter auto parts...?"

JB is spot on! All of that stuff is standard auto goodies that cost a fraction of what a "marine" part costs. Take you parts to NAPA and match 'em up.
