318 electric fuel pump

i have twin crysler 318 motors

i have twin crysler 318 motors. i want to put electric fuel pumps on them but i was told that i couldnt because my carter carbs couldnt hold the pressure. is there any truth to this or can i use an electric fuel pump. thanks

"No truth to it at all. You WILL have to run the elctric power through an oil pressure switch, to cut off the pumps if an engine stalls.
