i have a 1978 trojan with a 318 i dont have a sereal number on a plate i no the rotor butten goes clock wize but the wires go counter clock wize anyway i need to no what intake manufold gaskets to use i have 3 in the pack 2 that are open an 1 that has just a small pin hole in it im getting water in oil i put new head gaskets an cleaned all manufolds replaced risers

That's a reverse rotation motor. The distributor turns the same way on the normal rotation, but the wires are set up the other way around.

Use normal automotive intake gaskets for that motor (NAPA) and don't forget to install the little metal paltes.

Might be a blown head gasket. Do a compression test.

i did a compression test 96 to 124 thru out the hole motor i have just put new head gaskets on befor i did compression test im taking heads an intake manufolds back off an have them magnufluxed an presser tested to see if thats all good im pulling motor an checking front cover between the timing gears an the block if thats not it i dont no what to check its got me nut lol
