315 MPI down on power

Our mercruser is low on power and also sounds a bit tappity, could this be the problem, the motor has 60 hours on it it is a 315mpi

Ayuh,.... With all the info you've provided,... It could be ANYTHING...

Try a Tuneup, 'n Filter change, then go from there....

Check compression, with all the plugs out on a warm motor, write down each cyl. numbers and what cyl'

Example: 1-150

2-151

etc.

you say 60 hrs, how old, 3 yr warranty, let the dealer take a look
