"I need to readjust the valves in my 1995 3.0L engine. They didn't make it easy to know when #1 is a top dead center as #4 is also nearly at top dead center at the same time. I believe I have that figured out, but if someone has better info than the seloc manual, I'm all ears. Also, after adjusting the first four valves, it says to rotate the engine one time and adjust the other four. My question is, after one revoluton, should the dist. be firing on number 4 to make the second set of adjustments or number one again. I am thinking on #4, but it is confusing when you read that you can be adjusting #1 when its actually number 4 at top dead center. Any help would be appreciated. I have had it running after changing the dist. cap, rotor, plugs, hv coil and pickup coil. It runs ok at high rpm, but wont idle now. It ran rough at low rpm before all the work, but now its worse."
