"i am in the process of repowe

"i am in the process of repowering my 1977 silverton. when i bought the boat 2 years ago i was told the engines were 350's. i was also told they were not the boats original engines. after pulling these engines the tag on the flywheel housing said they were model:ch 220 LH serial:21440. the service manual that came with the boat stated that the ch 220 LH was a 307 cid engine. my question is, if they are in fact 307's, will that flywheel housing fit a 350 cid engine. i was unable to locate any tags on the engines to help identify them. i'm hoping that the flywheel housing is original equipment and that the boat was repowered with 350's. any help would be greatly appreciated"

350(5.7) and 307(5

350(5.7) and 307(5.0) are pretty much identical other than bore size. all components will bolt up.

Ayuh,.......
A Chevy Bellhousing is a Chevy Bellhousing....
All Chevy bellhousing bolt patterns of motors used in boats are the Same.......
From the little bitty 2.5l to the 502s use the Same Bolt Pattern......

You might come up against Other Fitment Issues,.....
But it Won't be the Bellhousing Bolt Pattern....."
