"I am currently in the process of rebuilding my alpha 1 outdrive unit, I was wondering if you change the gearing from 1.50 to 1.64 could I go up to an 18 pitch prop vs current 16 pitch and mantain the engine in the proper 4400-4800 rpm range? Right now the engine runs at WOT at 4500 rpm with a top speed of 34 mph.
