I have a 30 hp merc ml35 that bogs down a bit out of the hole and when i first run it dies after i stop acceleration. Its been to the loacal mechanic who went thru carb and also cleaned out the chambers to help build compresion, new plugs, oil. He says my compresion was around 90 after cleaning. He suggested that i run the regular dose of sea foam for a while. I am using new gas, cleaned the gas tank. It idles fine and i can rev it up just fine in nuetral. Starts on first pull. After the motor warms up, it doesnt die after i stop acceleration, but still seems to bog down a bit out of the hole still , slight hesitation almost . Any suggestions without going back to the mechanic. The mechanic thinks that this will work itself out since the motor sat for 3 years.
