30 GS MEFS overheating

I have a 1999 volvo/penta 3.0

I have a 1999 volvo/penta 3.0 GS MEFS engine.
I was trolling for about 15 min. and then my alarm went off and the temperature gage was 225 degrees. I turned off the engine and waited abt 5 min. did a restart and 5 min. later alarm went off and temp back up to 225. what happen and how do I fix it. thanks for the help.

Also, the raw water pump impeller could be faulty. If noe of the above is the problem, then you have to start looking at the thermostat, thermostat housing, exhaust manifold, circulating pump, etc."

when was the last time you replace the water impeller?
