30 alpha outdrive

Hello.My question is am I able

Hello.My question is am I able to remove the outdrive on my bayliner boat in one unit or does it have to be split into sections.

"Yes...you normally remove it

"Yes...you normally remove it as one piece, first put the gearshift into forward then remove the nuts from the shaft that hold's the trim rams on the drive and then the 6 locknuts that hold the drive on. Slowly back the drive out and try to support the drive shaft when it comes out so it doesn't slam down. Easier to do if you have another pair of hands."
