3 Month Engine Process

I have a 1989 70hp Johnson. What would you folks do for a 3 month storage? Until the last 4 months the engine has spent 95% of its 520 hours in freshwater. Now I expect the remainder of its life will be salt water usage. Yesterday after running fine in saltwater I ran freshwater "ears" for a couple of minutes and then ran the carbs dry. Again what do you folks do for short (a week) and long term (3 month) storage?
