"My father purchased a 12ft tinnie with a 3hp Terhi outboard some 25 yrs ago. The motor still runs fine but, thanks to a towing accident, it requires a propeller - They are left hand props (2 blade) I Cant find one in Australia - Can anyone help????"

"Jon, Terhi hasn't made outboards now for a number of years, and you are probably going to have to find a used parts dealer in Finland to help you with this. The Terhi website is

Maybe they can help you out with a lead...

Otherwise, you may want to investigate if you can "jury rig" a different prop. I have a 2.5hp Evinrude that uses a left-hand prop (and is still available from OMC) - so while I don't know how your prop hooks up, this may be an option..."
