3 blade or 4 blade

So if the the pitch is the same between these 2 props, is there a performance difference ?

If the pitch on both is the same, the 4 blade will act as though it's one pitch up.. a 28 4 blade will run like a 29 3 blade.

From what I have read, a 3 blade has a higher top end performance as well as more cavitation than a 4 blade (you'll never know the difference unless you've tried a 4 blade). The 4 blade has a much better "hole shot/take off" as well as getting off to a plane quicker. It's really up to your personal preference which one you want, as well as the boat and motor you have as well.
