Hello I think the drive shaft is stuck in the crank shaft but I don't want to beat in the alummium housing and brake it any other thoughts on how to free this thing up, and I can not seem to be able to find the year on this engine.
Its a 3 1/2 HP mercury
Serial# 6336982
it has a netural shift lever but again no way to disconnect the shaft, no opening in the side housing, & I can not lower the lower unit either.
