3.0 with low compression on two cylinders

During winterizing I was told that two of my cylinders had 140 and two had 30. their recommendaiton was a complete rebuild. Is that necessary? What are my alternatives?

What two cylinders were at 30 psi? Could only be a blown head gasket.

It it's 2 adjacent holes, then it's 80% chance it's just a blown head gasket

Ayuh,.... Hopefully it's been caught early enough,....

It don't take long for both the head, 'n block to develop a trench flame cut through 'em....
